Pacino as Hoffa?

Martin Scorsese and Robert De Niro have been collaborating on a film referred to as The Irishman, based on the book I Heard You Paint Houses and, although a date for the project is still uncertain, it is rumored that Al Pacino and Joe Pesci are also now involved with the movie.

It will apparently be a good ‘ol mobster flick, with the story tracing the life of Frank “The Irishman” Sheeran, a criminal reputedly responsible for more than 25 mob murders and allegedly also involved with the assassinations of John F. Kennedy and Jimmy Hoffa. Word on the street is that Pacino will play Hoffa.

Al already has several other new movies lined up, so whether this project will come to fruition remains to be seen, but one can only hope!
